The Long Beach Police Commissioner, Ronald J Walsh, has announced that the Long Beach Police Department will be participating in a county wide “STOP DWI” initiative over the Memorial Day weekend.

On Wednesday May 26th, 2021 at approximately 4:30 am, the City of Long Beach Police Department and Long Beach Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire at 255 West Park Avenue.

On May 26, 2021 at about 9:25 P.M. the Long Beach Police Department received a notification of shots fired in the area of East Pine St. and Riverside Blvd.

On May 23, 2021 at about 5:30 AM Long Beach Police responded to 431 East Broadway in Long Beach for a report of shots fired and a male struck by gunfire.
