From Monday April 24th to Friday April 28th, the Long Beach Police Department along with police agencies across New York State will be participating in the No Empty Chair campaign.
The No Empty Chair campaign is designed to raise awareness of highway and traffic dangers involving young drivers in the hopes that there will be no empty chairs during the upcoming prom and graduation season. During this campaign, the Long Beach Police Department will be deploying high visibility traffic enforcement patrols throughout the city to target unsafe motorists in the hopes of educating young drivers and instilling safe driving habits.
